About 100 gifts were presented to people with disabilities in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s Tan Thanh district on April 14, on occasion of the Vietnamese Day of Persons with Disabilities 2017.
The charitable event was co-organized by Senior Venerable Abbott of the Bat Nha Monastery in Tan Thanh district’s Phu My town Thích Chơn Tâm and the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange and the social sponsoring center in the district.
Each gift set included 10kg of rice, a box of noodle and 100.000 VND in cash. The total value of the charity is 30 million VND which was raised by Senior Venerable Thích Chơn Tâm and contributed by his followers.
