The Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts in collaboration with the University of Culture of Ho Chi Minh City held on August 15-16 a seminar on the protection and promotion of values of the heritage of the worship of Mother Goddess of Three-Realms in the current situation.

The seminar aimed to review achievements, limitations and causes, opportunities and challenges in the work of protecting and promoting values of the heritage of the Three-Realm Mother Goddess Worship of Vietnamese, as well as propose initiatives and solutions for drafting a national report to be submitted to the Scientific, Educational and Cultural Organization of the United Nations in 2024.
During the event, participants focused on evaluating the research, serving and documentation of the intangible cultural heritage of the Vietnamese Mother Goddess worship of the Three-Realms, and the customs, rituals and traditional festivals associating with the heritage; reviewing propaganda and education activities in order to enhance knowledge of the society, especially the young generation, about the protection and promotion of values of Mother Goddess Worship; and summarizing conservation programs and models of heritage education in the community.
