The Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) in collaboration with the Home Affairs Department in Bac Ninh held on November 26 a seminar with the theme “religions participate in building new-style rural countryside & civilized urban areas”.
The event was co-chaired by Vice Chairwoman of the GCRA Trần Thị Minh Nga and Deputy Director of the provincial Home Affairs Department Nguyễn Trọng Bình, and attended by Buddhist and Catholic dignitaries and deacons, and representatives from local authorities.
During the event, participants focused on roles and experiences of religious individuals and groups in rural and urban development, mobilization of religious in implementing state laws, as well as pointed out difficulties in religious practices and proposed solutions to promote roles of religious communities in building new-style rural countryside and civilize urban areas, contributing to the development of the country.
