A seminar on the implementation of state policies and laws on belief & religion in the integration context was held on September 20 in Hanoi University of Home Affairs.

The seminar was co-chaired by Assoc. Prof., Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Home Affairs (HUHA) Nguyễn Quốc Sửu and Dr. Director of the Political Science Department under HUHA Lê Thị Vân Anh.

Present at the event included Deputy Minister-Vice Chairwoman of the National Committee for Ethnic Affairs Hoàng Thị Hạnh, Vice Chairwoman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs (GCRA) Trần Thị Minh Nga, Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn from the Central Theological Council under the Party’s Central Office, Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Quỳnh of the Religious Committee under the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF)’s Central Committee, and large numbers of experts and scholars in the field of belief & religion.

The seminar focused on analyses of key religious issues in Vietnam, including the theoretical viewpoints toward state policies & laws on belief & religion in Vietnam in the integration context, the implementation of state policies & laws on belief & religion in Vietnam, and recommendations for improving state policies & laws on belief & religion in the coming time.

The seminar also drew over 40 presentation papers from experts and scholars, with six of them directly presented during the event.
