A seminar on Buddhism under Trần-Lê dynasties was held on June 25 in Tung Lam pagoda, Yen Bai city.
The event was organized by the provincial union of associations of science technology and tourism.
The seminar themed “Marks of Buddhism under the Trần-Lê dynasties in Yen Bai” provided analyses and discussion of current Buddhist heritage and relics from 13 to 18th centuries, as well as its values in today society.
The seminar also evaluated practical contributions by local Buddhist followers and worshipping places to the social development in the province and put forward proposals for restoring and preserving values of Buddhist relics in the locality.
