Sai Gon Protestant Church: 90 years of love sharing

Since its founding 90 years ago, the Sai Gon Protestant church under Vietnamese Confederation of Evangelical Churches (Southern) (1925-2015) has joined hands to share love with tens of thousands of Protestant followers and poor people in Ho Chi Minh city.

Pastor Nguyễn Thế Hiển, superintendent of the church cited an example of Phu Loi – Binh Dien meeting group for contributions in social and charitable activities for followers and local people. The pastor also informed of a new worshiping place inaugurated, contributing to meet needs of religious activities by local followers in 2013.

Vice Chairman of the District 1 Vietnam Fatherland Front Hứa Vĩnh Phúc praised contributions made by Saigon Protestant Church and meeting groups during 90 years to patriotic movements and the national unity, building and defense.

On this occasion its 90th anniversary, Sai Gon Protestant Church organized fund raising for the poor and Truong Sa island and presented 200 gift boxes to poor people in the locality.
