In the context of current Covid-19 pandemic spread in Ninh Thuan province, the Representative Committee under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) in the province has successfully launched fund-raisings for assisting households affected by the pandemic in the locality.
From the raised fund, the provincial Evangelical Representative Committee has sent 334 support packages containing rice, noodle, cooking oil and cash, etc., worth 120 million VND, to disadvantaged households in the province.

The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS)’s charity board in Ho Chi Minh city has distributed 300 sets of daily necessities including rice, noodle and cooking oil, worth over 100 million VND in total, to 300 foreign workers in Khanh Hoa province’s Nha Trang city.
Meanwhile, since the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh city, the VBS’s cultural affairs board in the city and Khanh An monastery has donated 125 tons of rice, 10,000 boxes of noodles and 18 tons of vegetables to the city’s 18 districts.

In supporting people affected by Covid-19 pandemic in Hau Giang province, the Hoa Hao Buddhist Church’s representative committee in the province has presented 2,860 sets of necessities, each valued at 200,000 VND, to poor households; donated 48 million VND to poor patients; maintained a monthly donation of rice to 28 households with special difficulties; presented 20 million VND to the Covid-19 prevention work in the locality.
