Over the past years, during the complicated context of the Covid-19 pandemic, religious organizations in Binh Phuoc province have actively made practical contributions to social charities in the locality.
As reported, in the first six months of year 2021, religious organizations in the province have raised a fund of over 12 billion VND for social charities. In particular, religious organizations has presented 12,330 gift sets valued nearly 3.37 billion VND to poor people in the Lunar New Year 2021 and spent over 8.6 billion VND for supporting the national COVID-19 vaccine fund, presenting gifts to border posts and operating charitable kitchens at local hospitals.
In addition, religious organizations in the locality have also actively joined in social movements launched by local authorities for the construction of rural roads, charity houses, and drilling of well, etc.
