Religious organizations in An Giang strictly observe guidelines for Covid-19 prevention during Lunar New Year

Religious practices in An Giang province have strictly observed preventive measures issued by relevant authorities during the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet) 2021.  

Local religious establishments have provided hand sanitizes and disinfectant solution, and encouraged local people to follow the Ministry of Health’s 5K (in Vietnamese) message: Khau trang (facemask) – Khu khuan (disinfection) – Khoang cach (distance) – Khong tu tap (no gathering) – Khai bao y te (health declaration).

Religious organizations have also implemented several social and charitable works for supporting for disadvantaged people in the province.

Earlier, An Giang authorities paid Tet visits to religious organizations, dignitaries, deacons and followers in the province and held meetings with religious dignitaries, outstanding intellectuals, and representatives of ethnic groups in An Giang.
