On November 8th, 2014, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) and Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) held a national conference on religious organizations’ involvement in preschool education development in Ho Chi Minh City.
Deputy Minister of the MOET Nguyễn Thị Nghĩa informed that by October, 2014 there are 269 preschools, 905 preschool independent groups and classes run by religious organizations and individuals, representing 15.6% of non-public preschools across the country.
Deputy Minister Nguyễn Thị Nghĩa highly valued efforts of teachers and administrative personnel of the religious preschools in taking care of children and encouraged teachers to creatively renovate methods and forms of educational activities with the aim to foster physical and mental development of children.
Minister of the MOET Phạm Vũ Luận presents certificates of merit to individuals for their outstanding contributions to preschool education development
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Ministry of Education and Training presented certificates of merit to 26 preschools run by religious organizations and 25 individuals for their outstanding contributions to preschool education development.
