Quan Am Dong Hai pagoda located in Vinh Hai commune of Soc Trang province’s Vinh Chau provincial city in collaboration with the provincial city People’s Committee held on December 4 a ceremony for inaugurating its Monks’ Accommodation which is to be used as a Covid-19 treatment center in the locality.
The Covid-19 treatment center based at Quan Am Dong Hai pagoda has over 200 medical beds and has been equipped with medical supplies for treatment work of Covid-19 patients.
* In Hue City of Thua Thien – Hue province, Kim Long charity clinic belonging to Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception under Hue diocese has also been chosen as the Covid-19 treatment center in the locality.
Besides, Hue diocese has set up a volunteer group of clergymen and clergywomen for supporting the frontline medical force providing care and treatment of Covid-19 patients at Kim Long clinic where a seeing-off ceremony for the volunteer group chaired by Archbishop Joseph Nguyễn Chí Linh was held on December 7.
