Religious dignitaries in Dong Thap extend congratulations to 89th founding anniversary of Vietnam Fatherland Front

Priest Matthew Nguyễn Văn Văn, Head of Hoa Khanh Catholic parish under Vinh Long diocese led a delegation on November 12 at the meeting with the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee in Dong Thap province on occasion of the 89th anniversary of the VFF (November 18).
Chairman of the provincial VFF Lê Thành Công welcomed the Catholic delegation.
During the visit, Priest Matthew Nguyễn Văn Văn extended congratulations to the provincial VFF on its traditional day.
Chairman Lê Thành Công took the chance to inform the provincial VFF’s activities over the past years. He also expressed hope that Catholic dignitaries would closely join local authorities in social programs launched for boosting socio-economic development in the locality.
