A delegation from the Vietnam Baptist Church led by Pastor President Nguyễn Võ Khánh Giám has paid a visit to the Committee for Religious Affairs in the Southern province of An Giang.
Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Phú welcomed the delegation.
During the visiting reception, Pastor Nguyễn Võ Khánh Giám thanked the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs for its due attention and supports extended to the Baptist Church and briefed results of the Church’s 4th general assembly (2022-2026 tenure) and activities of the Church over the past years.
At the reception, Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Nguyễn Phú extended congratulations to the success of the Baptist Church’s 4th general assembly and expressed hope that the Baptist Church would continue promoting fine traditions and proactively accompanying with the nation, conducting religious practice in accordance with the State laws, contributing to socio-economic development in the country.
The Vietnam Baptist Church was recognized by the Government Committee for Religious Affairs as a religious organization in 2008 and has one congregation in An Giang province’s Long Xuyen city.
