The Executive Committee of the Buu Son Ky Huong Faith in Nghia Thanh commune, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province’s Chau Duc district held on October 17 the ground-breaking ceremony for the reconstruction of Tay An temple.
The event saw the presence of the Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Buu Son Ky Huong Faith Lê Văn Việt, Vice Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Văn Dũng, representatives from local authorities and over 500 members of the faith organization in localities.
According to Vice Chairman Lê Văn Việt, Tay An temple was created with simple materials in 1973 by 130 households from the central region and provinces of Quang Ngai, Lam Dong, Phu Yen and other localities and it was rebuilt with semi-permanent materials in 1984.
As the temple has seriously deteriorated after over 35 years of existence, the Buu Son Ky Huong faith organization planed to rebuild the temple from 24 to 36 months and at an estimated cost of about seven billion VND.
