Thoi Binh Caodai Parish under the Tay Ninh Caodai Church in Ca Mau province started on October 16 the ground-breaking ceremony for rebuilding its oratory.
Attending the event were Cardinal Chairman of the Tay Ninh Caodai Church’s Executive Committee Thượng Tám Thanh and 1,000 followers of the Caodai Church.
Guests at the event included Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs in Ca Mau Ngô Hòa Dựa.
As reported, Thoi Binh Caodai Parish was established in 1947 and its original oratory was built in 1948. After 70 years of existence, the oratory has seriously deteriorated and no longer met current demands of religious practices by local followers. The local authorities approved for the parish to rebuild its new oratory in early 2019.
