Ramuwan (New Year) is the traditional festival of Cham people who follow Islam in Ninh Thuan province.
For Cham people of Bani Islam in Ninh Thuan province, the festival is the most important event and deeply imbued with cultural characteristics . The annual festival often features traditional activities of ancestral worship and tending graves ritual for extending gratitude of living people to their ancestors and the deceased.
This year, the traditional festival will take place from May 03-05, and on the occasion, the People’s Committee in Ninh Thuan province will organize the Grapes and Wine Festival 2019.

The Grapes and Wine Festival 2019, to take place from April 26 to May 2, aims to introduce the traditional culture, people and specialties in Ninh Thuan province, as well as boost tourism in the locality.
