The Cham Brahman community in Ninh Thuan schedule to organize the rain praying ceremony at three temples of Po Klaung Garai, Po Rame and Po Inu Nugar on July 26-28.
The traditional ritual of the Cham Brahman community held in the fourth month of Cham calendar aims to pray for rain in order to bring good crops and healthy people and animals.
The ceremony is closely associated with the agriculture and irrigation. Therefore, this event used to be a festival of farmers in the field.
It’s an annual and important event, and part of the festivals system taking place at Cham towers.
