A delegation from the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) led by Most Venerable Vice Chairman of the VBS Executive Council Thích Thanh Nhiễu visited Quang Ninh province on August 7 to present gifts to victims of the recent flood in the province.
On behalf of the VBS delegation, Most Venerable expressed sympathy with the losses, sorrows and difficulties of flood victims in the province.
During the visit, the VBS delegation presented 500 million VND to the provincial Party Committee.
Speaking at the visiting reception, Secretary of the Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee Nguyễn Văn Đọc expressed his sincere thanks to the VBS’s support to flood victims in the locality.
