Quang Ngai provincial religious steering committee opened a conference on June 22 for updating religious information and disseminating the new Law on Belief and Religion.
Attending the event’s opening ceremony included Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Nguyễn Thanh Quang.
During the meeting, a leader from the Government Committee for Religious Affairs introduced new contents of the Law on belief and religion passed in last November that will take effect in 2018, as well as updated information on the religious life in the country.
The meeting aimed to enhance efficiency in the state administration on religious affairs in the province.
