On July 7, Caritas of Da Nang Diocese in coordination with Vietnam Caritas held the ground-breaking ceremony for rebuilding Ba Thien Bridge in Dai Loc district, Quang Nam province.
The new concrete bridge will be built with 22m length, 2.8 m width, 5 tons of payloads, replacing the old wooden bridge constructed in 1962.
The bridge reconstruction is expected to be completed within 30 days, before the coming rainy and flood season, with an estimated cost of about VND 300 million.
