On February 22, Quang Binh provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) solemnly held the first full moon Thượng Nguyên ceremony at Dai Giac pagoda in the province’s Dong Hoi city.
The ceremony included many Buddhist rites, such as Buddha worshipping, Buddhist offerings and recitation, candle-light procession, etc.
The event saw the participation of thousands of Buddhist followers inside and outside the province.
