On March 19, Quang Binh provincial Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Committee solemnly held a ceremony to inaugurate Dai Giac pagoda in Quang Binh province’s Dong Hoi city.
Attending the event also included Chairman of Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hữu Hoài and local authorities’ representatives.
The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Quang Binh province was established in 2009 and started the construction of Dai Giac pagoda – its headquarters in 2013.

After three years of construction, Dai Giac pagoda’s main worshipping temple and its supporting facilities were completed.

During the event, Chairman of Quang Binh provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hữu Hoài congratulated the provincial VBS Executive Committee and local Buddhist followers on the event, and also encouraged them to make practical contributions to the socio-economic development in the province.
