On December 3, Quang Binh provincial Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics held the 2nd 2014-2019 term conference for reviewing implementation of patriotic emulation movements in the local Catholic community.
Attending the event included representatives of concerning provincial departments and agencies, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province’s districts, towns and cities, members of the 2014-2019 term Committee and heads of the pastoral council from the Catholic parishes in the province.
In 2015, Quang Binh province’s patriotic emulation movements in Catholic community have brought practical results and contributed to improve material and spiritual life of Catholics as well as strengthen the great all-nation unity bloc. Movements “All people unite to build cultural lifestyles in residential areas”, “new rural countryside model” and “peaceful parish and harmonious family”… have received eager support and active participation from local Catholics, contributing to the maintenance of social order in the locality.
At the conference, participants also discussed and approved the working program 2016 which focused on dissemination work to raise awareness amongst local Catholics and expansion of good models for implementing patriotic movements in the locality.
