The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Thua Thien – Hue province held on July 21 the main ceremony of the Quan The Am festival 2019 at Tu Tuong mountain located in the province’s Huong Thuy provincial city.
Thousands of Buddhist monks, nuns and followers in the province have joint activities of pigeons and balloons releases, procession and prayer for peace at the ceremony held in Quan The Am Buddhist Spiritual-Touristic Centre.
The Quan The Am festival taking place from July 20-21 this year featuring Buddhist rites and chanting attracted thousands of nationwide visitors.
