All 22 chapters of the Pure-land Buddhist Association in Ca Mau province successfully held the general conference for the 2018-2023 tenure by June 30.
As one of most important contents, the conferences have elected the executive board of 22 chapters for the new term, with the total of 207 members selected to these executive boards.

The southernmost province of Ca Mau is currently home to over 13,000 followers of the Pure-land Buddhist Association which grouped in 22 chapters. The Buddhist association is well-known for providing free traditional health-checks and medicines for the poor, and medical charities of the Buddhist chapters in Ca Mau is valued at VND 10 billion annually.
