The Public Security had on October 27 a meeting with members of the 15th National Assembly (NA) from religious and ethnic communities on occasion of the 15th National Assembly’s 4th session.

The event was chaired by Minister of the Public Secuity Tô Lâm and attended by President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Đỗ Văn Chiến; Chairman of the National Assembly's National Defense and Security Committee Lê Tấn Tới and all deputies of the 15th National Assembly who are religious followers and ethnic minorities.

During the meeting, religious and ethnic deputies took the chance to thank the Public Security for its support extended to religious practices in the country. They also pledged to encourage followers of religions and ethnic minority people to well observe the Party and the State’s guidelines and policies, proactively join patriotic movements and make practical contributions for social-economic development of the country.
On behalf of the Ministry of the Public Security, Minister Tô Lâm praised the dignitaries and prestigious people of the ethnic minority groups, especially religious and ethnic deputies of the 15th National Assembly, for their contributions to public order and social security in the country.
