Public security in Ha Tinh joins hand with local Catholics for preventing Covid-19 epidemic

A delegation from the Public Security in Ha Tinh province led by Colonel Director Võ Trọng Hải visited on March 10 Ha Tinh diocese and several priests in the province’s Nghi Xuan district.
During the visit, the delegation handed over 4,000 facemasks to parishioners in the locality.
At the office of Ha Tinh diocese, Colonel Võ Trọng Hải highly spoke of efforts made by the diocese in preventing Covid-19 threats. He also urged dignitaries of the diocese to enhance the communication work on the preventive measures against the virus amongst parishioners and strictly implement advisories issued by relevant authorities during religious services.
Bishop of Ha Tinh diocese Paul Nguyễn Thái Hợp highly appreciated the prevention measures implemented local authorities against the spread of Covid - 19 in the province. He also affirmed that Catholic dignitaries in the diocese would continue encouraging parishioners to wear masks while going to the churches, provide hand sanitizers in the worshipping places, and keep the environment clean and hygiene.
