The Protestant Representative Committee in Lam Dong province under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) held on March 9 a spiritual refreshment conference for Protestant women in the province.
Attending the event included Pastor First-Vice President of the ECVN Thái Phước Trường, Pastor Head of the Representative Committee in Lam Dong province Cil Múp Ha Kar and over 3,500 women from local Protestant churches.
Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Ngô Văn Đức and Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women’s Union in Lam Dong province Phạm Thị Ánh Tuyết are amongst guests at the Protestant training.
As reported at the gathering, in 2016, the Protestant Women Board in the province raised over VND 55 million for social and charitable activities, including support packages for the elderly, children with disadvantages in remote areas.
