Tuy An Protestant Chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) in the Vietnam central province of Phu Yen held on August 30 a solemn ceremony for inauguration and consecration of its church.
Attending the event included Pastor President of the ECVN (South) Phan Vĩnh Cự, local authorities’ representatives and about 300 Protestant pastors, deacons and followers in the province.
Tuy An Protestant Chapter was officially recognized in 2008 and started reconstruction of its church in 2014. The new church, completed in August 2016, covers an area of 720m2 with 22m long, 11m wide and 17.7m high. The total construction cost was estimated at 2.4 billion VND.
