The Protestant Board on Health and Social Actions in Quang Nam province conducted a medical charity program on Sept. 9 for the poor in Ka Dang commune in the province’s Dong Giang district.
Joining the program included Commissioned Pastor Head of the Board Ông Văn Tín, Commissioned Pastor Superintendent of Achom 2 Protestant Church Nguyễn Thanh Hồng, representatives of the provincial charity association and authorities of Ka Dang commune, and nearly 30 doctors and volunteers.
During the event, doctors and volunteers conducted health checks, free distribution of medicines for over 300 people, presented 20 medical glasses for old people and conducted haircut for about 100 people.
Earlier, on Sept. 1, the Board on Health and Social Actions in the province also presented wheelchairs to 51 people with disabilities at the office of the charity association in Quang Nam province in presence of Pastor Head of the Protestant Representative Committee in the province Mã Phúc Thanh Tươi.
