On occasion of a working visit to Nghe An province, Politburo Member cum Chairwoman of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation Trương Thị Mai on December 15 visited and presented gratitude houses to disadvantaged households in the province.
Accompanying the leader of the mass mobilization commission included Secretary of the provincial Party’s Committee Nguyễn Đắc Vinh, Deputy Secretary the provincial Party’s Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Thái Thanh Quý and Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Vũ Chiến Thắng.
Chairwoman Trương Thị Mai handed over three charity houses to the policy beneficiary family of Mr. Đoàn Văn Nam, the poor household of Mr. Hoàng Văn Tú in Cua Lo city and the poor Catholic household of Mr. Vương Đình Kỳ in Nghi Loc district.
On the same day, at the headquarters of the provincial People’s Committee, Knight of the Grand Cross Lê Đức Thịnh and Viet Phu An company presented 500 million VND to the Fund for the poor in Nghe An province, 200 million VND to the Charity Fund of Vinh diocese and 10 charity houses to 10 poor households in the province.
On occasion, Chairwoman Trương Thị Mai extended merry Christmas celebrations and happy New Year to Bishop of Vinh diocese Alfonso Nguyễn Hữu Long, priests and laymen in the province.
