Gia Lai provincial authorities held on May 21 a ceremony to celebrate its 90th founding anniversary and receive certificates of Natural World Heritage and provincial historical and cultural relics in Pleku city.

Joining with Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính at the event included Chairman of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education Nguyễn Trọng Nghĩa, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Đỗ Văn Chiến, and representatives from local authorities.
During the event, Chief of the UNESCO Representative to Viet Nam Christian Manhart presented the recognition decision of Kon Ha Nung Plateau as World Biosphere Reserve to Gia Lai province. Vice Chairman of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Đoàn Văn Việt awarded recognition certificates to Tay Son Thuong Dao historical relic complex as a special national relic site and Roc Tung-Go Da archaeological site as a national relic site.
