Joining with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, leaders of the Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee have agreed on the schedule and events which will take part during the upcoming Hung Kings Temple Festival in the northern province of Phu Tho.
The Hung Kings Temple Festival 2020 is expected to be held on a national scale, with a major event beginning on March 23, 2020, before concluding on April 2, 2020, at the Hung Kings Temple historical relic site located in Viet Tri city.
An incense offering ceremony will get underway on March 10 of the lunar calendar under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
To mark the occasion, other festivities will be co-organized by Phu Tho province and other participating localities such as Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Thua Thien - Hue, Binh Dinh, and Ho Chi Minh City.
It is hoped that through the organisation of the Hung Kings Temple Festival, Phu Tho province will boost the status of the Hung Kings Temple historical relic site as a centre of belief, culture, and festivities for the Vietnamese people.
