A delegation of Phu Cuong Diocese extended on January 4 a visit to provincial Party Committee in Tay Ninh province, on the occasion of Lunar New Year (Tet) of the Cat 2023.
Welcoming the delegation included Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Head of the National Assembly Deputies Group of Tay Ninh province Phạm Hùng Thái and Chairman of the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization Trương Nhật Quang.
During the visit, while extending Tet greetings to the locals officials of Tay Ninh, Bishop of Phu Cuong Diocese Joseph Nguyễn Tấn Tước took the chance to thank to provincial authorities for their attention and supports extended to Catholic parishes in the locality over the past years.
Speaking with the guests, Deputy Secretary Phạm Hùng Thái spoke highly of practical contributions made by Catholics for socio-economic development in the province, and extended Tet wishes of peace and prosperity to Bishop Josepth Nguyễn Tấn Tước and Catholic people in the locality.

On the same day, the Catholic delegation visited and extended Tet greetings to the provincial People’s Committee, the provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the provincial Public Security and the Religious – Ethnic Affairs Committee in the province.
