An opening ceremony for the Year of Consecrated Life was held at Phan Thiet Diocese Cathedral on February 2.
The ceremony was presided by Bishop Vũ Duy Thống of Phan Thiet Diocese and attended by about 50 priests and more than 1,000 clergymen and clergywomen from the Congregations in the diocese.
At this event, Priest Hoàng Văn Thắng from Chau Thuy Cistercian monastery presented a topic concerning Pope Francis’s letter to people who live the consecrated life.
He also stressed the compliance of the laws, God’s commandants, and traditional customs in the consecrated life.
