On November 21, nearly 400 clergywomen from congregations under Phan Thiet diocese gathered at Thanh Xuan parish to attend its 21st conference.
At the event held with the theme “Clergy and New Evangelization of the Consecrated Life”, the participants made discussion on many practical topics including challenges to the consecrated life and skills to overcome difficulties in pastoral service. Priest in charge of clergy Hoàng Văn Khanh also shared a topic on the consecrated life and God’s mercy.
The congress also elected the new management board for clergywomen of Phan Thiet diocese for 2015 – 2018 tenure which comprises of five members led by Sister Anna Lê Thị Thu Thủy of Lovers of the Holy Cross of Phan Thiet.
Currently, there are 110 congregations under Phan Thiet diocese with 637 clergywomen.
