Kon Tum provincial People’s Committee held on March 16 an online conference on implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion for local officials in the province.
The event saw the particiaption of Vice Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Bùi Thanh Hà, Vice Chairmran of the provicial People’s Committee Lại Xuân Lâm and 80 delegates representing the provnice’s departments, as well as over 500 online viewers who are district-level leadership and offcials working tasked with religious affairs through television gateways set up in the districts and the provincial city.
During the event, Vice Chairman Bùi Thanh Hà introduced key contents of the Law on Belief and Religion and the Decree No.162 on detailing a number of articles and providing measures for the implementation of the new religious law and Decision 199 of Minister of Home Affairs on administrative procedures in the field of belief and religion.
