The Northwest Steering Committee on July 9 held a meeting to sum up its operation in the first half of the year and set out tasks for the rest of the year.
The meeting was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc, Head of the Committee, and attended by Deputy Head of the Committee Trương Xuân Cừ, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs cum Chairman of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs Phạm Dũng and the Committee’s members from central agencies, 12 Northwest provinces, and Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces.
