On September 29, Secretary of Ninh Thuan provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Đức Thanh led a delegation to visit the Dignitaries Council of Cham Brahmin community in the province’s Ninh Phuoc district on occasion of Kate festival 2016.
Joining the delegation included representatives of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs and Vietnam Fatherland Front.
At the visiting reception, while extending congratulatory greetings to the Dignitaries Council and Cham Brahmin people on occasion of Kate festival, Secretary Nguyễn Đức Thanh asked the Council to continue encouraging Cham community to well implement the State’s policies and laws, and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements for socio-economic development in the province.
