The Dignitaries Council of Bàni Islamic community in Ninh Thuan province held a solemn ceremony on May 30 for inaugurating its headquarter in the province’s Ninh Phuoc district.
Attending the event included Imưm Vice Chairman of the Dignitaries Council Từ Công Dư, members of the Council and a large number of followers.
The ceremony also saw participation of Chief of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs’ (GCRA) Office Dương Văn Khá, Chairman of the People Council’s Board of Ethnic Affairs Đàng Thị Mỹ Hương and local authorities’ representatives.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Chief of the GCRA’s Office Dương Văn Khá extended congratulatory wishes to the Dignitaries Council and praised the Council for its contributions in encouraging Islamic followers to implement the State laws, as well as promote and preserve fine cultural traditions of Bàni Islamic community.
He also expressed his hope that the Dignitaries Council would further encourage Islamic followers to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements for the socio-economic development in the province.
