During the visit, Secretary Nguyễn Thị Thu Hà extended Tet greetings to Archbishop of Ho Chi Minh city Archdiocese cum Apostolic Administrator of Phat Diem diocese Joseph Nguyễn Năng, Catholic dignitaries and parishioners in the diocese.

While briefing results of socio-economic development in Ninh Binh province last year, she spoke highly of contributions of priests and lay Catholics in the diocese to the province’s success, highlighting Phat Diem diocese’s work in social movements and programs launched by local authorities.

 For his part, Archbishop Joseph Nguyễn Năng took the chance to thank Ninh Binh provincial authorities for the Tet visit and favorable conditions extended to the building of the diocese’s office and Catholic practices of Phat Diem diocese over the past years.
