Nghe An province honors “Good People, Good Deeds” in Catholic communities

On September 14, Nghe An provincial Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (CSVC) organized a conference to honor “Good People, Good Deeds” in Catholic communities for 2010-2015 period.

On September 14, Nghe An provincial Committee for Solidarity of Vietnamese Catholics (CSVC) organized a conference to honor “Good People, Good Deeds” in Catholic communities for 2010-2015 period.

Over the past five years, the campaign for building cultural life in residential areas and promoting a better secular and religious life launched by the provincial CSVC has brought many practical results. Catholic congregations and followers in the locality have proactively engaged in movements launched by local authorities for improving cultural and economic life and developing civilized lifestyles in the families and communities.

On this occasion, five collectives and 22 individuals received a certificate of merit from the provincial People’s Committee; nine collectives and 16 individuals were awarded a certificate of merit by the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for their outstanding achievements in the movement “All people unite to build cultural life in residential areas and live a better secular and religious life”.
