Tan Ly Dong Chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Tien Giang province’s Chau Thanh district appointed its superintendent at a ceremony held on June 19.
The ceremony taking place at Thanh Tam church located in Ward 4 of Da Lat city was presided by Bishop of Da Lat diocese Dominic Nguyễn Văn Mạnh, and joint by over 2,000 members of the missionary congregation and relatives of the new priests from Thai Binh, Tay Ninh, Kon Tum provinces and Da Nang city.
During the event, Bishop Dominic Nguyễn Văn Mạnh performed ordainment rituals and extended congratulations to the new priests and their relatives.

The eight newly ordained priests include Peter Nguyễn Văn Chỉnh, Peter Nguyễn Anh Dũng, Peter Nguyễn Quốc Dương, Joseph Nguyễn Hữu Minh, Peter Nguyễn Thanh Phương, John Baptist Phạm Văn Thuyên, Joseph Hoàng Văn Trí and Joseph Lưu Xuân Trường.
