A ceremony to formally announce the establishment of Ka Tang Protestant Congregation under Khe Sanh Church of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Quang Tri province was held on July 28.
Attending the event included Commissioned Pastor Member of the ECVN’s Representative Committee in the province cum Superintendent of Khe Sanh Church Nguyễn Văn Bảo, representatives of local authorities, and about 120 deacons and followers from congregations under Khe Sanh Church.
During the ceremony, Commissioned Pastor Nguyễn Văn Bảo proclaimed the decision on the establishment of Ka Tang Protestant Congregation.
Ka Tang is a village of Bru-Van Kieu ethnic people located on the border between Vietnam and Laos, near Lao Bao international border gate.
