Tien Binh Protestant congregation under Phan Thiet Protestant Church under the Evangelical Churches of Vietnam (Southern) (ECVN) in Binh Thuan province formally made its debut at a ceremony held on January 17.
Attending the ceremony were pastors, evangelists, deacons and followers from Phan Thiet Protestant Church and other churches in the province. Representatives of local authorities also joint the event.
During the events, Protestant dignitaries and followers listened to the brief history and development of the congregation. Accordingly, Tien Binh congregation was granted a religious registration certificate by Tien Thanh commune authorities on December 2, 2016, and was recognized by the ECVN (Southern) on December 22, 2016 with 20 believers and Pastor Trần Hoàng Sơn appointed as its new superintendent.
