Da Bri Protestant chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) in Lam Dong province’s Da Hoai district held a ground-breaking ceremony to start construction of its new church on June 27.
Attending the ceremony were Pastor Deputy Secretary of the ECVN Nguyễn Ngọc Thuận, Protestant dignitaries, local authorities’ representatives and about 600 Protestant followers in the locality..
Da Bri Protestant chapter was granted official recognition in 2011. Currently, the chapter has 475 followers, most of whom are farmers. According to the design construction, the new church will be built with 26m long, 12m wide together with supporting facilities and at an estimated cost of 2.5 billion VND.
