Tan Thuan Evangelical chapter under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh city solemnly held on February 18 the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of its worshipping church.

Attending the event included Pastor Nguyễn Hữu Bình, General Secretary of the ECVN (South), Pastor Phan Văn Cử, Deputy Secretary of the ECVN (South), and representatives from local authorities.
During the ceremony, Pastor Nguyễn Hữu Bình performed the ground-breaking rituals and Pastor Phan Văn Cử initiated prayers for the construction of the new church
As reported, Tan Thuan evangelical chapter was established in 1956 and its original church was built in 1990. The new church will be built on the area of over 400 m2 with five stories and the total investment of over 20 billion VND.
