A ceremony to formally announce the establishment of Hiep Mot Protestant Church under the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church located in Tuyen Quang province’s Yen Son district was held on June 8.
Attending the event included Pastor Head of the Church’s Executive Committee Huỳnh Huyền Vũ, Pastor Deputy Head of the Church’s Executive Committee Vàng A Pó, Pastor Deputy Secretary of the Church’s Executive Committee Đỗ Mạnh Cường, and representatives of congregations under the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church in Yen Son district’s Hung Loi commune.
Representatives of the Government Committee for Religious Affairs and the provincial authorities also joint with the Church’s followers at the event.
During its 1st general meeting with the participation of over 150 followers, Hiep Mot Protestant Church elected ten members to its management board with Mr. Hoàng Văn Chi as the Church’s Superintendent.
Hiep Mot Protestant Church is the first church under the Vietnam Christian Fellowship Church established in the Northern mountainous region, combining six congregations of Thon Bum, Thon Phan, Thon Nhung, Thon Khuoi Ma, Tau Lin and Na Tang with the registered number of 500 followers.
