New Protestant church established in Dak Nong

Bu So 2 Protestant church in Dak Nong province under the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) (ECVN) made its debut at a ceremony held on June 7 in Dak R’Tih commune of Tuy Duc district.  

The ceremony saw the participation of Deputy Secretary of the ECVN (South) Nguyễn Ngọc Thuận, Member of the Executive Committee of the ECVN (South) Pastor Y Djrên, members of the Representative committee of the ECVN in provinces of Dak Nong and Binh Phuoc and about 400 Protestant followers in the province.

Guests at the event included Chairman of the provincial Committee for Religious Affairs Lê Trung Trường Vũ and local authorities’ representatives.

During the ceremony, Pastor Y Djrên announced the establishment decision of Bu So 2 Protestant church.

Bu So 2 Protestant church currently has 88 Protestant households with 450 followers of M’Nong ethnic group and Pastor Điểu N’sré appointed as Superintendent of the chapter church.
