Tay Thanh Protestant Church in Ho Chi Minh city made its debut, inaugurated its church and appointed Commissioned Pastor Trần Long Quang as its superintendent at a ceremony held on August 28 at Tay Thanh church in Tan Phu district.
Meanwhile, Yang Han Protestant Church under the Evangelical church of Vietnam (ECVN) (South) in Dak Lak province also made its debut on the same day.
Attending the events included President of the ECVN (South) Phan Vĩnh Cự, the Protestant Representative Committee from Ho Chi Minh city and Dak Lak province and a large number of Protestant followers inside and outside the localities.
During the events, Protestant dignitaries and followers sang hymn, listened to preachings “Temple of God”, “Pastoral principles” and the brief history and development of the two chapters.
